fluiidd, 10 years of nuclear research serving industry.

95% of industrial failures go unnoticed until it's too late. We've spent 10 years developing the technology that changes that—first for the nuclear industry, and now for all industries.

Genesis

From Nuclear Safety to the Civil Industry.

In 2011, the Fukushima accident reshaped the landscape of global nuclear safety. The CEA launched a research program to address a fundamental question: How can we see, in real time, what is flowing inside a critical industrial pipeline without interrupting the process? Mathieu Darnajou joined the project. Over the course of several years—including a period in Japan working alongside teams dealing with the aftermath of the disaster—he developed the sensors and algorithms that would form the technological foundation of fluiidd.

A decade later, that same technology is now helping protect facilities far beyond the nuclear sector: dairies, refineries, pharmaceutical plants, and mining sites. What was designed to meet the world’s most stringent safety standards is now applied across the entire process industry.

Founders

Demanding science, industrial-scale production.

President & Co-Founder

Mathieu Darnajou

A Ph.D. in instrumentation and former group leader at CEA, where he worked on nuclear reactor safety instrumentation, Mathieu invented the imaging technology that, for the first time, makes it possible to see what flows through industrial pipelines in real time. His research at CEA earned him seven innovation awards.

CEO & Co-Founder

Philippe Guenebaud

An engineer by training, Philippe has more than 30 years of experience leading international high-tech companies. As a specialist in industrial IoT and large-scale deployments, he oversees fluiidd’s international expansion.

The Team

A multidisciplinary team based in La Ciotat.

In addition to its founding duo, fluiidd brings together hardware and software engineers, doctoral researchers in partnership with Aix-Marseille University and the CNRS, as well as the sales, support, and operations teams necessary for rigorous industrial deployment.

Mission-Driven Company

A purpose-driven company committed to a sustainable industry.

fluiidd is a purpose-driven company. Our commitments are embedded in our company’s bylaws: extending the lifespan of industrial equipment, reducing energy losses and eliminating the material discarded as a precaution.
For us, success is not measured by revenue, but by what we can collectively stop wasting.

wasted each year by European industrial pumps. That’s equivalent to Portugal’s electricity consumption. This is the challenge that fluiidd addresses.

Recognition

A technology validated by industry leaders.

Our approach has been recognized by the most demanding scientific, industrial, and public institutions in France and around the world.
